November 2 & 9, NVYAA Give Back-Community Project. 1pm-5pm at ACTS in Dumfries Va. More info to come.

Take Time Out and join NVYAA board meetings.   Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at 7pm at the Hylton Boys and Girls Club on Dale Blvd unless otherwise noted.

Board members and head coaches are required to attend. Meetings are open to all NVYAA participants. Parent-Team representatives are encouraged to attend.

Chris Warren One Day- Non Contact Football Camp was a SUCCESS. On July 19, 2008,  Chris Warren partnered with the NVYAA to teach fundamentals of all positions for over 50 kids in Prince William County.  Registration began at 7:15am. Campers were given Chris Warren t-shirt's and were off to their training stations after a brief welcome from Mr. Shannon Shy, Director of Business of Operations and Moses Webb, Deputy Director of Football Operations. This one day camp was held @ Godwin Middle School. With a 100% volunteer base of coaches and volunteers, this camp was challenging, fun and educational. College Prep World participated as Mr. Eric provided parents with first hand information on the importance of education and scholastics. Certified student trainers intrigued the players and parents with their knowledge and advice on education and athletics.  "Student first, Athlete second"! CPR and First Aid courses are mandatory for Head Coaches. Classes are complete for this season. Cards will be distributed at the Board meeting. First Aid kits and books are available for purchase.

Mark your calendar now for 2008 league photo's. Team and individual pictures will be taken at Lake Ridge Middle School on September 28, 2008. Please arrive by 2pm fully dressed (jersey's, game pants, socks, cleats, and helmet). If you would like to purchase pictures, please complete the photo forms provided by NVYAA.
